Anthropic's proposed multi-billion-dollar letter of credit before sprinting IPO

Anthropic is negotiating with a number of banks to add a few billion dollars to the $2.5 billion revolving letters available to complement the IPO cash buffer this year. Revolving letters are readily available amounts and do not amount to money that has been borrowed. Anthropic will also meet with open market investors in the coming weeks to test the scale and valuation of the issue. The Information states that it is likely to be listed in September at the earliest, with a valuation target of over $1 trillion. The earliest dates given by CNBC and Bloomberg were October, and the final arrangements have not yet been finalized. The original letters were provided by the banks Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Morgan Chase, Citi and Barclays, some of which are also involved in IPOs。
