Samstar plans to outsource Google 2nm TPU backend
On 16 July, as a result of the surge in orders from the Crystal Rounded Generation and the pressure on internal engineering manpower, Tristar electronics was considering outsourcing back-end design for Google 2 nanometer processor (TPU) input-out of nudity film (I/ODie) to external co-workers. Several industry sources have revealed that Samsung has recently approached the Sub-Citizen Design Solutions Partnership (DSP) for its intention to take over Google ' s 10th generation TPU ' s output back-end design business. The TPU code name “Icefish” will be produced using a three-star 2 nanotechnology process。
