USSEC ISSUED THE 2026 REGULATORY AGENDA STATEMENT: IT WILL PROMOTE ENCRYPTION RULES AND THE EXCHANGE OF TOKENIZED SECURITIES
Paul Atkins, Chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), issued a statement on the 2026 regulatory agenda, in which he stated that a range of regulatory reforms would continue to be pursued, including the promotion of regulatory frameworks to adapt to the current market environment, the active embrace of innovation and new technologies, the implementation of the United States President ' s “Making the United States a Global City of Encryption” goal, the promotion of more encrypted-related products to land on the United States market, the establishment of clear rules for the financing of encrypted assets, and the clarification of chain-based hosting and facilitation of chain-based monetized securities transactions by market participants. In the area of capital market reform, the USSEC will move forward with the “Make the IPO Great Again” initiative to promote more companies into the open market by reforming the information disclosure system, reducing the cost of business listing compliance and maintaining the necessary investor protection measures。
