Coinbase CEO: S&P 500 will end Wall Street Break
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that the monetization of S&P 500 would end Wall Street's monopoly. The United States stock market has reached a record high of over 7534 points in the S&P 500 index, an increase of 75 per cent over the past five years. In his view, the traditional financial system had become a closed club and only monetization could address the problem. According to Armstrong, billions of people are unable to invest directly in United States science and technology companies and are prevented from doing so by geographical constraints and complex compliance requirements. Coinbase recently launched a tokenized stock deal for non-United States users, supported by currency and real stock at 1:1, aimed at eliminating Wall Street intermediaries and enabling anyone around the world to buy parts of apples or British Wida through smartphones, while obtaining real dividends。
