Pantheon Analyst: Consumer confidence index rises and inflation is expected to decline at Michigan University

According to Samuel Tombs, an analyst in Pantheon, the University of Michigan consumer confidence index rose from 49.5 to 54.4 in June, exceeding what economists expected by 50.5 but still below last year ' s average.
