The Pioneer Group has publicly recruited digital asset managers who have made it clear that encrypted assets are inconsistent with their long-term investment philosophy

On 8 July, recruitment information for the Vanguard Group indicated that it was in the process of recruiting digital asset managers for personal wealth operations, with job requirements ranging from experience over 10 years to in-depth understanding of digital assets (currencyization, money stabilization, hosting, settlement, etc.) and innovation and risk management capabilities in the regulatory environment. The position would be responsible for the development of a strategy, road map and land implementation in the area of digital assets, including the assessment of digital asset capacity, product development, business model and cross-functional collaboration with the sectors of products, technology, operations, risk, law and compliance. It also requires external communication with industry participants, regulators and clients on behalf of Vanguard. According to the information received, Vanguard has since December last year been allowed to encrypt ETF and mutual funds for brokering clients, but the company has made it clear that there are no plans to issue its own encrypted investment products and that digital assets remain inconsistent with its long-term investment philosophy。
