THE WHITE HOUSE HAS SET UP THE GOLDEN EAGLE PROJECT, OR HAS APPROVED THE FIRST USER OF THE FRONT-LINE AI MODEL
The White House created the Gold Eagle to coordinate the software gaps identified by AI and to facilitate validation, repair and patch distribution. According to sources quoted by CNBC, the plan may also be responsible for reviewing which enterprises and institutions could use the Frontline AI model earlier. OpenAI and Anthropic may need the express approval of the Government for the selection of their first partners in the future. The United States Government had previously participated in the screening of the first GPT-5.6 partners, and such ad hoc arrangements might later be incorporated into a unified mechanism. The White House denied the Government ' s approval authority to the CNBC, stating that the participation of enterprises in testing remained voluntary and that it was ultimately up to the business to decide when and to whom the model would be published。
