NextEra Energy plans to invest $59 billion a year by 2032
NextEra Energy plans to spend $59 billion annually on capital expenditure by 2032. The company currently has a market value of $185.0 billion and is planning to acquire a competition of $60 billion. Electricity demand is expected to grow by 60 per cent between 2025 and 2045, and NextEra hopes to respond to this change by scaling up. Acquisitions will increase their access to capital markets and increase investment opportunities. NextEra also operates the largest global contracted solar and wind energy operation, with capital expenditure expected to support an annualized gain of about 9 per cent。
