ARK: SpaceX is no longer just a rocket business

On July 19th, after completing the largest IPO in history, SpaceX's core narrative to investors shifted to artificial intelligence rather than space rocket operations: after the acquisition of XAI, Grok's Large Model and two global top-calculations data centres, SpaceX indicated to investors that the company's future over 90 per cent market growth space was based on artificial intelligence, not space lanes. The company has adopted an industry-wide chain vertical integration strategy: it owns rocket launch, computing data centres, and the whole artificial intelligence chain; its computing resources are currently leased externally and its clients include companies such as Anthropic, Google, Reflecting AI. ARK calculates that the cost of space launch can be reduced to less than $100 per kilogram after a scale operation; the cost of construction of an on-orbit space data centre is 25 per cent lower than that of a ground-based data centre, and the cost of energy is close to zero for the continuous reception of sunlight。
