Former Twitter CID Michael Coates as Chief Information Security of the Solana Foundation Officers

The security expert Michael Coates announced in a letter on platform X that he had been appointed Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Solana Foundation to open a new chapter in his career. Coates was previously the security supervisor of Mozilla, Twitter CISO, and founded Altitude Networks, a start-up company focused on SaaS data security, which was subsequently acquired by CoinList and entered the encryption industry. Coates states that the choice to join Solana is due to the fact that the chain currently stabilizes currency transactions amounting to tens of billions of dollars a day, which exceeds the sum of most encrypted currencies. He mentioned that future work would focus on integrating security capacity into the security base of industry operations and applications, addressing security challenges specific to encrypted currency, and working with policymakers and standard agencies to promote improved regulation of cybersecurity。
