Zcash launched the Zakura full node with the goal of increasing privacy transactions to 50,000 per second
On 19 July, Zcash launched a new full-node client Zakura 1.0.0 as its first landing component to increase the volume of private transactions from about 1 per second to the size of the payment network. The client is maintained by Sean Bowe, an early member of Zcash Zero Knowledge Password, and Dev Ojha, head of Valar Group, independent of the Zcash Foundation and funded through private ZEC donations. Zakura is based on Zebra client development of the Zcash Foundation, where the team provides a block-chain snapshot of approximately 11GB, with a new node that can be activated within two minutes, increasing by about 680 times; its compatibility model can also recreate the old zcashd interface so that the wallet and trading platform can continue to run after the maintenance of the client ends on 18 July. According to the team, the level of Visa processing more than 50,000 transactions per second with the MasterCard was its lowest target. To reduce the certification burden of large-scale private transactions, Sean Bowe ' s Tachyon project is developing a recursive certificate that allows the node to validate thousands of other certificates with one certificate; Valar Group has developed private information retrieval techniques that allow wallets to obtain transactional data without exposing their search content. Zakura also tested a rapid transmission system for new blocks to all nodes within half a second. Its recent test node is an Ironwood upgrade, which is expected to activate on July 28th. Ironwood will limit the financial access to Orchard's private pool through a "turn door" mechanism to reduce the risk that the previous zero-knowledge certification loophole may lead to the counterfeiting of ZEC into the market。
