Swyftx obtains an Australian financial services license and is seeking opportunities in the area of encrypted currency payments
On 8 July, Cointelegraph reported that Swyftx, Australia ' s encrypted currency exchange, had obtained an Australian financial services licence, indicating that it would seek opportunities in the area of encrypted currency payments. The licence allows Swyftx to provide derivatives such as encrypted currency options or futures to retail customers and authorizes them to provide non-cash payment services, thus enabling the financial technology company to provide payment services to businesses and retail customers. Swyftx ' s temporary Co-Executive Director, Andrea Yuen, stated that the company would no longer be a purely encrypted money spot exchange in the future after being licensed to provide payment services. Swyftx does not currently hold AFSL plates for spot-encrypted currency transactions。
