Jordanian armed forces reported intercepting three Iranian-launched missiles
On 19 July, the Jordanian Armed Forces Command-General issued a statement on 19 July, local time, that the Jordanian air defence system had successfully intercepted and shot down three of the four Iranian missiles launched against targets in Jordan on that day, and that one missile had landed in a remote area in southern Jordan far from populated areas. The statement stated that the incident had not resulted in loss of life or property. The Royal Jordanian Engineers Force has travelled to the missile crash site to conduct disposal and on-site alerts in accordance with the relevant technical and safety procedures. The statement stressed that the Jordanian armed forces would continue to maintain the highest level of alert and to maintain constant control over Jordanian airspace and would respond resolutely to any act that threatened the national security of Jordan and the lives of its citizens。
