ANALYST: THE AI DEAL IN PARTS OF ASIA IS MOVING FROM A LEAD TO A FLAT

On 8 July, Patrick Munnelly, a Tickmill Group analyst, stated that in parts of Asia, AI transactions had shifted from a leadership position to a silo. The decline in the Korean stock market continued on Wednesday, delaying the entry of the benchmark Korea composite index into Bear City. Munnelly stated that after a historic increase, investors continued to sell crowded semi-conductor positions. While investors try to separate the broader AI narrative from semiconductor silos, this may become more difficult in the future. He added that the market was coping with multiple pressures, such as geopolitical supply shocks, excessive silos in technology and persistent inflation expectations。
