Iran claims that two tankers exploded while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz

In the early morning hours of 20 local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a communiqué stating that in the late night of 19 local time, two tankers, at the instigation of the United States forces and under duress, attempted to pass through the southern channel of the Strait of Hormuz, which was followed by an explosion and prevented from proceeding.
