Trump claims that Iran may be hit hard again
on wednesday, 8 july, united states president trump expressed his dissatisfaction with iranian leaders, calling them “cuckoo” and threatening a new round of strikes. “we hit them last night, and it is likely that we hit them again tonight”, he said at the nato summit, “they used to be bullies in the middle east, but they are no longer.” prior to iran's attack on a merchant ship near the strait of hormuz, trump declared the ceasefire between the united states and iran to be “end”; nevertheless, he expressed his willingness to allow negotiations to continue. trump, however, noted that the iranian leadership had repeatedly misled him: while they were negotiating, they seemed willing to reach a peace agreement, and then went backwards. “they promised everything, turned around and went to a press conference, claiming that we never talked about it,” trump said, “they have problems with their brains, they have problems.” trump added that he was “very dissatisfied” with the iranian regime, and said that more attacks were being considered as early as wednesday night. “we might hit them tonight, but we have to see how things are going.” he said。
