Beled led $12 billion in financing to support the Meta Texas data centre project

According to the Wall Street Journal, Belet is leading at least $12 billion in debt financing to support its large data centre project with Meta Platforms in El Paso, Texas. Beled and its infrastructure and private sector credit operations hold 80 per cent of the project and Meta Platforms 20 per cent. The park is expected to have approximately 1 GW of computing capacity. Morgan Chase and Morgan Stanley are responsible for the sale of debt. Belet had spent $40 billion on the acquisition of Aliigned Data Centers, and Meta had recently agreed to rent a data centre in the construction of the Aligned Data Center in Hipingport, Pennsylvania。
