Update on the United States intelligence service: pessimism for a new round against Iran

On 21 July, United States intelligence journalist John Hudson stated that an assessment by United States intelligence agencies revealed a pessimistic attitude towards a new round of military strikes against Iran: Current and former officials have indicated that these strikes are unlikely to have a significant impact on Iran or to soften its negotiating position. According to United States intelligence analysts, Tehran and Washington have been caught in an indefinite stalemate between war and peace, a disturbing situation in view of the increasingly deadly hostilities between the two countries.
