According to The Fintech Times, the National Bank of the United Arab Emirates (Emirates NBD) has access to the Partior block clearing and settlement network and has completed the first real-time cross-border dollar payment in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, with J. P. Morgan acting as both a clearing bank and a collection bank. Business and institutional clients of the Bank can now send United States dollar payments to Morgan Chase in real time.
