Apples will work with Klarna to launch the upgrades to boost sales
On 21 July, Apple (AAPL.O) plans to launch a lease called Apple Upgrade, which will be one of the biggest changes in the company's equipment sales model ever. According to informed sources, the service is expected to go online on 28 July and will initially be launched on the United States market to support most iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple Watch. Apple will work with Klarna Group, which will provide financial support for the project. The plan will be launched in the United States and synchronized with Apple entity retail stores and online platforms. The service will follow a similar subscription model, where users can pay for equipment in advance during the lease, upgrade to new-money products early or retain the equipment beyond the lease term. In part, the advance transaction may incur additional costs. Similar to the car rental model, the user can return the equipment at the end of the lease period. Of these, iPhone and Apple Watch had a lease cycle of 24 months and Mac and iPad 36 months。
