Jack Dorsey's Block release team platform Buzz
On 22 July, Twitter launched a team-oriented chat platform, Buzz, placing humans in the same space as AI agents. Dorsey says that Buzz "the model is irrelevant, decentralised, self-sovereign, completely open source". Buzz resembles Slack on the interface, but is home-grown with AI proxy functions and integrates GitHub project management capabilities in the same window, integrating multiple work streams into a single workspace. Due to the full open source, the developers can access the full source code and customize in depth by building their own functionality, deployments based on specific team needs and workflows. The current team collaboration tool is undergoing a structural shift from people working with people to people working with AI agents, and Buzz is trying to capture this migration window by opening up the ecology。
