Trump clarifies the Messa nuclear agreement: for civilian purposes only and not for enrichment, Saudi Arabia must first accede to the Abraham agreement

On 23 July, United States President Tripp wrote on social platforms that “the civilian nuclear agreement between the United States Department of Energy and Saudi Arabia (no enrichment of materials!) will be approved only for non-military purposes, such as those already held by Iran and the United Arab Emirates (and other countries), but solely on Saudi Arabia's accession to the highly respected and successful Abraham agreement. The United States does not object to civilian (non-enrichment) nuclear facilities.”
