The Israeli Defense Commander claims to have been “all-round prepared” to address the situation in Iran

On 24 July, at 23 local time, according to Israeli sources, Israeli Defence Minister Katz said on the same day that the Israeli side was now ready for “all that might happen” in view of the current escalation of tension with Iran. It is alleged that Katz convened the same day the Israeli Chief of General Staff, Zamir, and senior military officials to hold an emergency security assessment meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters. Katz issued a strong warning to the Iranian side at the end of the meeting. He claims that if Iran chooses to launch any form of attack against Israel, “it will bear a devastating blow from Israel”.
