THE ENCRYPTION ATM INJUNCTION IN TENNESSEE, UNITED STATES, CAME INTO EFFECT AND THE COURT DISMISSED THE URGENT DENIAL REQUEST

On 9 July, Bitcoin com reported that the U.S. Federal Court had rejected an urgent request by GPD Holdings, LLC (operating in the name of CoinFlip) and Charles Wernicke, Chief Executive Officer of Private IT Corporation, to block the Tennessee encryption ATM injunction, allowing it to remain in force for the duration of the constitutional proceedings. The ban, which was implemented on 1 July, makes the purposeful installation, placement or operation of a virtual currency self-help machine in Tennessee a misdemeanour of category A. CoinFlip is one of the largest encrypted currency ATM operators in the world, with over 5,500 bitcoin ATMs in 48 states and several countries in the United States。
