Hyperliquid RWA transactions exceeded encrypted assets for the first time last week, representing 54 per cent
On 24 July, according to a letter from Lorenzo Valente, the research director of ARK Invest, Blockworks data indicates that the real-world asset (RWA) transaction based on the HIP-3 agreement is growing rapidly. Last week, for the first time ever, the Hyperliquid platform ' s RWA transactions exceeded the encrypted asset transactions, accounting for 54 per cent of the total Platform transactions. Of these, single-stock trading has become the fastest growing category, and since June, the volume of stock trading has exceeded index and bulk commodities, currently accounting for about 61 per cent of the total volume of Hyperliquid RWA transactions, indicating that the financial markets along the chain are expanding from purely encrypted to traditional assets. The data show that last week the total value of DEX’s contract renewal was approximately US$ 79 billion, of which Hyperliquid contributed about US$ 50 billion, and HIP-3 RWA’s trade amounted to US$ 26 billion, or even more than the sum of other DEX contracts. The RWA transaction may not necessarily be fully concentrated in the existing encrypted trading platform in the future, with different asset classes likely to form a stand-alone front, and future trading platform competition priorities or a shift from a competition for the flow of encrypted assets, such as BTC, ETH, SOL, to a chain demand for real assets, such as stocks, commodities, etc。
