REPORT: Q2 ENCRYPTED EXCHANGE SHARE OF TOTAL TRANSACTIONS DECREASED BY 8 PER CENT TO 35.34 PER CENT
On 24 July, according to a recent report released by TokenInsight, in the second quarter of 2026, the total trade volume of the encryption exchange fell by 8 per cent to $16.5 trillion in the ring, but the structure improved — from $3.3 trillion to $4.5 trillion in spot transactions, from $14.6 trillion to $12.0 trillion in derivatives and from 82 per cent to 73 per cent. In terms of market share as a whole, coins rose from 32.77 per cent to 35.34 per cent, with the largest quarterly increase recorded. The spot market is headed by 32.26 per cent, followed by Bybit (9.19 per cent), Gate (8.01 per cent) and OKX (7.08 per cent); the derivatives market has 36.48 per cent, with a combined control of over 70 per cent with OkX (16.42 per cent), Bybit (10.05 per cent) and MEXC (9.51 per cent). Traditional financial contracts became the fastest-growing sub-market for Q2, with monthly transactions increasing from $52 billion in January to $268 billion in June. The currency is run by approximately 60 per cent ($380 billion in quarterly transactions) and Bitget and OKX are ranked second and third at about $70 billion, respectively. The market pattern of long-term contracts for equities has changed significantly, with the currency share rising to 63.0 per cent (+21.5 percentage points) and the OKX to second place (+10.8 percentage points)。
