Barclays: The impasse in the Straits of Hormuz could last for another three months at a price of $150 per barrel
On 25 July, Barclay indicated that the risks projected for oil prices were upwards, depending on the duration of the impasse in the Strait of Hormuz, and that spot oil prices could lead the way and test $150 per barrel under a three-month scenario. If the current situation continues for another month, two months or three months, there is a risk that oil prices will rise by $2, $7 or $10 per barrel, respectively, compared with the projection of $96 per barrel of Brent crude oil for 2026。
