Trump claims that negotiations between the United States and Iran do not preclude increased military strikes

On 25 July, United States President Trump, speaking at the White House on 24 July on the “exit strategy” for the Iranian war, stated that the United States had two options: to continue the current military operations and possibly to step up its efforts to gradually destroy Iran's military capabilities; and to negotiate an agreement. According to Trump, the Iranian side wanted to reach an agreement, but it is “not ready”. He indicated that the United States could continue to act in the way it currently did, and could do so more quickly. At the same time, Trump stated that the United States was still negotiating with Iran, “as we speak, the two sides are talking”. (In Russian)
