THE YING WEIDA PROJECT HAS A $50 BILLION COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE KOREAN SK GROUP

On Friday, 25 July, we announced that we would work with the South Korean SK Group on an AI plan to cover large-scale AI data centre construction and next-generation memory technology. The plan includes a long-standing partnership with SK Hercules, which aims to ensure that Young Wida has access to the next generation of storage devices and to jointly develop high bandwidth storage (HBM) for AI training, AI intelligence and physical AI applications. SK Telecommunications plans to construct an AI data centre with an installed capacity of 2 GW, which will operate with the Vera Rubin chip in Wevda and HBM4 high bandwidth storage in SK Hercules, the first of which is expected to be operational in 2027.
