Trump ordered a moratorium on air strikes on Iran

On 25 July, local time, United States President Trump ordered the United States forces not to launch a new air strike against Iran on that day, putting an end to a daily strike that lasted almost two consecutive weeks and lasted 13 days. According to the information received, Trump had previously approved on a daily basis the military-submitted strike programme against Iran, but had not approved the implementation of the new plan of operations on 25 December, but had ordered a direct moratorium on air strikes on the same day. It is not clear whether this decision will be an interim one-day arrangement or whether it will mean that military operations will be put on hold. According to the information received, the delegation of Oman arrived in Tehran a few hours before Trump ordered a moratorium on air strikes to begin negotiations on a new arrangement for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Two regional sources interested in the negotiations stated that progress had been made and that agreement between Oman and Iran was expected this weekend, when Trump would decide whether to accept the option.
