The escalation of the American-Iranian conflict has led to the collapse of the Gulf stock market in Qatar
On 9 July, the Qatari stock market fell most of the major Gulf markets, continuing the recent decline, following the largest escalation in the conflict between the United States and Iran since the 60-day peace agreement between the two sides last month. A new report by the International Monetary Fund shows that Qatar is a commodity-producing country most directly affected by the disruption of energy output and transport. QE Index in Qatar fell by 0.8 per cent, Saudi Arabia ' s benchmark index fell by 0.4 per cent and Dubai Financial Market General Index by 0.2 per cent。
