Iran states that there has been progress in talks with Oman on the management of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz

On 26 July, according to a 26-day report by the Iranian news agency Mehr, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Baghaei, stated that Iran had recently held a meeting at the level of Deputy Foreign Minister with Oman on the management of safe shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which had been “effective and had made some progress”.
