Weeda accelerates the next generation of CPUs and GPUs with a Vera processor
On July 27, Ying Weidar wrote today in an official blog, and the complexity of modern chip design is growing as the engineering team works to develop increasingly sophisticated CPU, GPU and artificial intelligence systems. In order to address this challenge, Weida is working with the Telecommunications and New Thoughts Institute to optimize NVIDIA Vera CPU critical electronic design (EDA) applications. The current deployment of Vera to the EDA workflows developed by its next generation of CPUs and GPUs demonstrates how high-performance CPU structures can help accelerate some of the most challenging engineering loads in the industry. Looking to the future, the Young Weida project is to launch the next generation of Rosa processors based on Vera, carrying the NVIDIA Rigel core, while continuing to optimize EDA applications in its CPU road map.
