The Russian Federation Savings Bank plan to establish an infrastructure for encrypted currency transactions by December
On 27 July, Cointelegraph reported that the largest Russian bank, the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation (Sberbank), was planning to complete the encryption-trading infrastructure, including a digital repository, by 1 December. Previously, Russia was integrating the transactions, hosting and clearing of encrypted currency into its financial system. The digital repository will record the ownership of the encrypted currency and handle most transactions outside the main block chain. The Savings Bank of the Russian Federation will operate active wallets for deposit, withdrawal and transfer by clients。
