Tesla Optimus is a well-known investor in cold water: no revenue in the short term

On 27 July, Tesla CEO Mask described human robots as “the most important product ever produced by the company”, yet a prominent American investor warned that it might take a long time for Tesla Optimus robots to be successful in their business, because they are not only difficult to manufacture but are unlikely to generate revenue in the short term. According to Ross Gerber, Chief Executive Officer of the investment company Gerber Kawasaki, the greatest obstacle to the creation of human-shaped robots is the reproduction of the unique human body capacity. Gerber also questioned the commercial opportunities for consumer-centred human robots, stating that investment levels did not match short-term income potential。
