You've been fined HK$2.8 million by the HKSRC

On 27 July, according to the Hong Kong Business News Network, the HKSRC condemned and fined HK$ 2.8 million for failing to implement adequate and effective internal control procedures to monitor and detect clean-up transactions by its clients. In its response, the Mercosur responded that the decision to accept penalties in good faith had been fully implemented in September 2025 and that all internal control techniques were now in compliance with regulatory requirements.
