On 28 July, the CME Group launched a cash settlement of stock futures based on 55 United States shares and a micro-contract based on 22 shares on 27 July, marking the entry of the exchange into a market designed to allow investors to leverage multiple-space transactions around the clock. These contracts are traded on the CME Globex platform from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon, with one hour of maintenance break per day, enabling investors to react to financial and other market-impact events outside the normal United States stock market trading time。
