Which Vanguard Global ETF in 2026 is more worth investing: VT or VXUS

Investors must decide whether to hold a single-fund global portfolio or to use targeted instruments to isolate international exposures when selecting Vanguard ' s total world stock ETF (VT) and Vanguard ' s total international stock ETF (VXUS). Both funds offer extensive diversification, with VT including companies from the United States and abroad, while VXUS tracks indicators that do not include United States companies. The difference in cost ratios between the two is minimal, at 0.01 percentage points. VT has paid a share of $2.48 per share over the past 12 months, with the current equity value of approximately $156.13 representing a return of 1.60 per cent. VXUS has paid a bonus of $2.19 per share over the past 12 months, at a current equity value of approximately $84.06, representing a return of 2.60 per cent. Given long-term performance, VT is a better option in 2026。

A bet on Deribit for a large-scale increase in price differential transactions rose to $72,000 at the end of the month

On 18 July, CoinDesk reported that during the week, the Deribit Exchange had a large-scale bitbitcoin price increase, with traders buying 20,000 margin increases of $70,000 at 31 July and 20,000 at the same date and $72,000 at the same time, for a total of 40,000 contracts with a nominal value of approximately $2.5 billion. The strategy is expected to moderate the price of bitcoin to between $70,000 and $72,000 in view of the price differentials. Jean-David Péquignot, Chief Commercial Officer of Deribit, said that he had seen a number of large-scale price differential transactions this week, which usually reflected the institutional configuration. The timing of the deal is a matter of concern: the 31 July expiry date coincides with two days after the Fed’s interest rate resolution of 29 July, implying that some of the large traders expect the Fed’s meeting to push the bitcoin up to $72,000. The futures of the Fund show a probability of maintaining interest rates at the July meeting of 75 to 80 per cent. Inflationary data in June showed a significant slowdown in price pressures as a result of the fall in oil prices, but the escalation of the American-Iraqi conflict this week led to a sharp rise in oil prices, with some analysts warning that inflation data had lagged behind the latest situation。

The survey revealed that 84 per cent of financial institutions consider asset monetization as a strategic priority

A recent survey by Broadridge, a financial science and technology service provider, shows that 84 per cent of financial institutions have adopted asset monetization as a strategic priority and that the vast majority of institutions believe that the technology will reshape the financial market within five years. The survey, which targeted 200 North American financial service executives, indicated that the financial sector was moving from the experimental phase of block chain technology to actual deployment, to simplify settlement processes, reduce operating costs and support all-weather transactions by converting real-world assets, such as stocks, bonds, funds and real estate, into digital chain tokens. Despite high industry enthusiasm, 92 per cent of respondents expected digital assets to coexist with traditional assets in the foreseeable future, and 69 per cent planned to integrate monetization technologies into existing infrastructure rather than build independent chain systems。

Iraq uses Syria to bypass the Strait of Hormuz to export oil

Iraq is using a large number of trucks to transport fuel through Syria, avoiding the Strait of Hormuz and rapidly transforming Syria into the most important export centre in the Middle East. In just a few months, Syria has moved from not sending any fuel to supplying more than a quarter of the fuel in the Middle East. The arrival of these goods through thousands of trucks, which took about four days to reach Syrian Mediterranean ports, highlights the fact that the Iranian war is reshaping the pattern of energy flows in the region。
