Instagram is continuing to extend the video business to the television end. The company indicated that it was exploring longer-term video, multi-volume content and the creator's live experience for TV applications, in an attempt to further bring content consumption that was otherwise moving to the living room.

Three-star TV in coverage.

Shortly before the update was released, Meta started testing the "Series" feature for Reels, with the aim of making it easier for users to track successive updates on Instagram and Facebook. Today, the product orientation of the television end is also beginning to be linked to this.

Instagram also says that the TV application has started landing on Tristar TV. Previously, this application had supported Amazon Fire TV and Google TV. As the device coverage expands, Instagram wants to bring content patterns other than short videos to a larger screen.

Add channel and screen content portal

According to the official presentation, the user opens the application and sees the channel recommended on the basis of the subject of interest to creators and creators. According to the company, such channels are better designed for multi-person viewing and help users find comedy, sports or video from particular creators more quickly.

Instagram is also testing an independent screen video area that allows users to view on television content that is more suitable for large screen displays. This also means that the platform is preparing for a way of viewing closer to the traditional stream media, rather than just a wall around the end of a mobile phone, Reels.

Throw screen with Stories

In addition to the content morphological adjustments, the TV application added the ability to project screens from mobile phones. Users can now put Reels, or what is stored in the Saved tab, directly on TV.

At the same time, Instagram brought Stories into the TV application. Previously, the application of the original support element was mainly Reels. With the gradual addition of Stories, screen videos and serial content, the Instagram end-to-end television product is moving from a single short video portal to a more complete video distribution interface.
