Coinbase, an AI-generated news alert, raises controversy on Sunday. The platform sent to the users a “crash news”, stating that the Norwegian team had defeated Brazil by 3 to 2 in the World Cup phase-out, but the match had not yet begun.

The reminder also states that Harland scored two goals in the MetLife Stadium game in New Jersey. Meanwhile, Coinbase's own forecast market page still shows that the competition was delayed for weather reasons.
The user subsequently released a message intercept on platform X. According to one of the posts, the reminder was sent at 10:26 a.m. Eastern U.S. time, and the game did not start until 4:00 p.m.

Chief Executive Officer Coinbase Brian Armstrong replied on X that he was investigating the matter with the team. Max Branzburg, the head of the company ' s consumer and commercial product, has since stated that the error has been corrected and that the company has made "some updates" to avoid similar AI irregularities in the future.
Branzburg states that the 24-hour trading insight capability that AI supports is valuable, but the system still needs to continue to adapt to reduce such problems.
