Slow Mist Warning: Recruitment fraud used a false AI conference tool to steal Web3 data from business people

On 29 July, according to a security alert issued by slow fog, its Misteye system discovered a recruitment fraud against Web3 practitioners. The assailants impersonated the recruiter and lured the victim into installing an AI meeting tool called “Relay”, which was a malicious software. The malware program also targets MacOS and Windows users and attempts to steal sensitive information such as browser vouchers, wallet-related information, Keychain data and Telegram sessions. The slow fog has analysed samples and disclosed the details of the attack chain, reminding users to be careful to install software during online interviews or recruitment processes to avoid unverified applications。
