The SecondFi White Hat team has transferred some of the rescued assets to the EMERGO Recovery Fund

On 29 July, the Cardano wallet service provider, SecondFi, issued an update on security incidents, stating that a white hat team involved in its Asset Recovery Fund had deposited some of the rescued assets into a recovery fund address set up by EMERGO to track the return of assets in a transparent manner, stressing that the address was available only for viewing and that users could not transfer to it. SecondFi reiterates that it will not ask for private keys, notes or wallet vouchers, nor will it proactively contact users via private mail or mail to remind the market that there are fake SecondFi browser extensions and applications, the only official extension being on-line with a blue authentication mark to Chrome Web Store and to alert users to access links and information only through secondfi.io and the official support portal。
