Wall Street's launch of structural products around SpaceX stock price fluctuations seeks to counter the downside risk of going on the market

On 29 July, Wall Street stepped up its roll-out of complex investment products linked to its stock, aimed at helping investors to withstand the risks of further future declines, as SpaceX came on the market. According to regulatory documents, at least five financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Marex Group Ltd. are seeking to introduce structural instruments linked to SpaceX stocks. By limiting investors' downside risk-- – Some products can provide up to 50 per cent of the fall in protection — to attract buyers, but at the same time, they will cap returns in months or even years to come。
