Aave will phase out low-prevalence assets and partial chain deployment, involving nearly $100 million in supply assets

On 30 July, according to Stani Kulechov, founder of Aave, following the completion of the comprehensive review, Aave will phase out 50 low-prevalence asset reserves in a number of deployment environments and will cease deployments in Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium and Aptos in an orderly manner, involving an additional 25 asset reserves. In addition, 21 mature Pendle PT assets will be phased out and replaced with new maturities. This adjustment involved approximately $98.1 million in supply assets and $15.6 million in liabilities. Stani indicated that this was intended to reduce the economic and technical risks of the agreement based on the new Aave risk framework and the technology asset listing framework, and that Aave would continue to conduct risk assessments of assets in the various deployment environments。
