World Gold Association: Total global demand for gold in the second quarter was the same as the same, at 1269 tons

On 30 July, the World Gold Association released the Global Gold Demand Trends Report for the second quarter of 2026, which showed that, as gold prices fell from their historical highs early in 2026, the total global gold demand for the second quarter was equal to 1269 tons. Overall global demand for gold increased by 2 per cent in the first half of the year to 2522 tons, or approximately $380 billion。
