Coinbase continues to diversify its income structure in the second quarter, predicting a doubling of market revenues but a decline of about 7 per cent after the stock exchange
On 31 July, the security exchange Coinbase dropped by about 7 per cent after the release of its second quarterly financial report. Although companies forecast rapid growth in market operations, they have created a new global market share for encrypted transactions. According to the press, the number of market contracts and the associated income ring increased by 106 per cent in the second quarter of Coinbase doubles, with annualized revenues exceeding $100 million. According to the company, the introduction of the binary forecast product at the end of the quarter increased the number of daily transaction users to about three times that of May and the daily income to about four times. During the same period, Coinbase ' s global market share for encrypted transactions rose to 10.3 per cent, up from 9.1 per cent in the previous quarter and increased in the third consecutive quarter. Coinbase states that its “everything Exchange” strategy is facilitating the expansion of operations from traditional encrypted transactions to forecast markets, tokenized stocks and derivatives. At present, about 88 per cent of the company ' s net income comes from operations other than spot transactions in bitcoin. In addition, the Platform ' s USDC average holdings reached a record $20 billion, representing more than 30 per cent of the total in circulation; and subscriptions and services revenue reached $555 million, or nearly half of net income. Coinbase has achieved EBITDA profitability for the fourteenth consecutive quarter. CEO Brian Armstrong states that Coinbase is no longer merely a bet on bitcoin prices, but rather an accelerated embrace of encryption in the area of financial services。
