According to polls, only one third of Americans supported a war against Iran

According to the United States Defence News website, on August 1, a poll conducted jointly by Reuters and the Leapso Group indicated that only one third of Americans supported United States military action against Iran, a rate that had reached its lowest level since the current round of fighting in Iran. According to most interviewees, US President Trump did not clearly explain the core purpose of US military involvement in Iran. The poll was conducted from 24 to 26 July. The survey also showed a small increase of 37 per cent in the Trump support rate, which was 3 percentage points higher than last month.
