The White House is organizing an artificial intelligence business conference on Tuesday to review the artificial intelligence framework
On 3 August, according to The Information, five informed sources revealed that the Trump Government had invited employees of a number of technology companies, including OpenAI, Google and Anthropic, to the White House on Tuesday to review the completed framework for artificial intelligence. The framework will establish a voluntary process for artificial intelligence laboratories to submit the model to the Government for review before it is released to partners and the public. This meeting is scheduled to take place several days before the completion date (1 August) set by an executive order in early June. According to an informed source, the meeting would be hosted by the Office of the Director General of National Cybersecurity, a member of the executive branch, who also indicated that the invitation letter made it clear that the meeting would discuss the next steps of the framework and an unspecified related activity. According to both, the meeting was expected to include staff-level representatives from companies rather than senior managers, as it was not a public release as a new framework。
