THE SERVICE WILL CEASE AFTER FIVE YEARS OF OPERATION, AND MILLIONS OF DIGITAL COLLECTIONS HAVE ACCUMULATED

On 4 August, the founder of POAP Isabel announced that after more than five years of operation, the POAP project would be phased out. Isabel states that in the past few years POAP has forged millions of digital collections in hundreds of communities and has worked with global institutions such as Coinbase, Amex, Warner Music Group (WMG), Bayer. In addition, POAP has completed a large-scale application during the Devcon campaign, casting more than 800 collections within a week and launching the Airport Rally campaign, which allows global collectors to access POAP at the airport. Isabel states that POAP is of particular interest to many, but that it is difficult to establish sustainable business models without sacrificing core project concepts because of the effects of the encryption industry ' s financing cycles and distribution models. At the same time, rapidly changing technological infrastructure and market cycles have added to operational challenges. Summarizing the experience of POAP, she said that the user community was the most undervalued asset of the enterprise, and that truly valuable products could spread brands through users; that connectivity remained a core value that should not be overshadowed by short-term technology speculation and price speculation; and that in a rapidly changing market environment, long-term accumulation and brand trust would be important moats. Isabel states that no next steps have yet been decided, but that the direction of the AI-era business market entry (GTM, Go-To-Maret) model is being considered。
