IA STORAGE HEAT WAVE BOOSTED PERFORMANCE, AND MOODY GAVE SK HERCULES A RATING FOR THE FIRST TIME
On 4 August, for the first time, the international credit rating agency, Moody, raised the credit rating of SK Hercules to level A, reflecting the company ' s increased competitiveness in the artificial intelligence storage market and improved profitability and cash creation. The previous day, Moody had raised the SK Hercules long-term issuer rating and the advanced uncollateralized bond rating from “Baa1” to “A3” and maintained “stable” ratings. This was the first time that SK Hercules had received a Moody ' s A rating since his incorporation into the SK Group in 2012 and was also the first of the three major international credit rating agencies to give a SK Hercules A rating. Currently, both the Standard and Fitch ratings for SK Hercules are “BBB+”. Of these, the standard rating is “positive” and the Fitch rating is “stable”. Moody ' s forecast is that SK Hercules will maintain a high profitability and cash-generating capacity over the next 12 to 18 months and that the financial situation will improve further. Moody ' s view is that the company has accumulated sufficient cash reserves to enhance its resilience to down-cycle risks。
